Add a Minor in Criminology, Law and Justice

Criminology, law, and justice is a great choice for a minor that can enhance studies in a variety of areas, including sociology, public health, business, journalism, economics, political science, psychology, statistics/actuarial sciences, and many others. Declaring a minor is easy through MyUI (Programs of Study).

Requirements

  • 15 semester hours in approved courses - at least 12 sh must be taken at the University of Iowa
  • One Introductory course from the following - CRIM:1410, CRIM:1447, SOC:1420
  • Minimum GPA of 2.00 in minor course
