Biography
I attended Indiana University Bloomington where I got my BSPH in epidemiology with a minor in sociology. After graduating, I spent two years in Atlanta at Emory University where I received a Master of Public Health in the behavioral, social, and health education sciences.
Currently, I am on the sociology track here at the University of Iowa where I am able to combine my public health background with sociological frameworks to investigate the social structures that impact our health and healthcare. While I am interested in a variety of health areas, my primary research interests revolve around sexual and reproductive health and the stigma that often surrounds this topic.
