Gus Raymond
I completed a BA in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, and an MA in clinical mental health counseling from Adler University in Chicago. I have worked as a certified drug and alcohol counselor since 2019, and as a licensed associate therapist currently. Some of my professional work focuses on training clinicians and other mental health or recovery professionals about working with LGBTQ+ and/or gender expansive/transgender populations. I have been involved as well in many social justice-based community organizations working against systemic oppression and marginalization. My sociological interests are regarding the systems affecting gender expansive/transgender, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized youth in the education and mental health realms.
