The course offers a hands-on experience working directly with local law enforcement. Criminology professor Dr. Michaela Ruppert runs the course which draws from personnel and resources from the Iowa City Police Department, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Coralville Police Department, North Liberty Police Department, and the Johnson County Attorney’s Office.
